A few months after their wedding, the couple announced on a local news outlet and several social media websites that Polito refused to give them their wedding photos if they did not pay an additional fee of $150, on top of the thousands of dollars they already paid. The Dallas-based duo gained a high level of public sympathy, which eventually led to the closing of Polito’s business and the downfall of her reputation as a professional photographer.
