I can’t say how I would feel after a kidnapping and murder but I am pretty sure that it was eating at Austin Sigg, 17 year-old from Golden, Colorado. Colorado courts have ruled that there is enough evidence to prove Austin Sigg guilty for the murder of Jessica Ridgeway.
Authorities say that there was no motive Ali Syed’s shooting spree in Orange, California. Ali Syed, a 20 year-old student, shot and killed three people and injuring four in the early morning of February 19, 2013.
Prosecutors are still deciding whether to charge, 15 year-old Nehemiah Griego, as an adult for the murders of his five family members. Victims include Greg Griego (Father), Sara Griego (mother), Zephania (9), Jael (5), and Angelina (2). Nehemiah Griego was charged with two counts of murder and three counts of child abuse ending in death.
Tragedy struck on Friday, December 14 in Newton, Connecticut. There were 20 children and 6 teachers murder by the hands of Adam Lanza. I think after this shooting we all have come to understand the importance of safety in schools and gun control. But a lot of people are missing the real issue, mental health. Roderick Arrington, a 7 year old from Las Vegas, passed away on November 30 after his mother and step-father beat him to death. What was the reason? He did not do his homework and lied about reading a bible passage. He was admitted to the hospital on November 29 for sever bruising and brain swelling. Roderick moved from Illinois where he was living with his father to Las Vegas with his mother Dina Palmer and step-father Markiece Palmer. Dina would let Markiece discipline her son and would join in if her son was no obeying their rules. Dina was involved in Roderick’s last beating and watched Markiece, “shake her son to death.” Roderick, had bruises on the back of his buttocks, thighs, and back from various objects.
