A Northern California Superior Court Judge ruled that the 1.1 billion dollar expenses associated with the removal of lead paint and any related building deficiencies of residences built prior to 1978 will lay in the laps of three major paint manufacturers.

Before the class action lawsuit, the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) ordered 23andMe to stop the sale of their saliva, DNA gathering kits because the company was not cleared by the United States federal government to make any medical claims.
