A Salt Lake City entrepreneur has taken her role as a cast member on The Real Housewives to a level of legal proportion.  When she is not vacationing on girls’ trips and arguing at plated meals with her fellow housewives, Heather Gay devotes her time as the co-owner of Beauty Lab + Laser, a Utah-based company that offers cosmetic enhancements, such as Botox, lip injections, fillers, contouring, sculpturing treatments, and hair restoration, among other services.  Otherwise viewed as a successful business, a recent lawsuit has led to the company’s potential harm and lost revenue.

The drama stars Heather Gay and her housewives co-star, Monica Garcia, who is in her freshman season of The Real Housewives, currently airing on Bravo.  According to Beauty Lab + Laser, Garcia failed to fulfill her side of a contract, which included her agreement to pay a stated price for nose and lip injections.  According to the claim, Garcia did not satisfy her payment plan.  The company is asking that Garcia pay no less than $2,000.  The defendant’s lack of attention toward her financial obligation has allegedly resulted in the continued suffering and loss of income for Gay’s business, which she has owned since 2017.

Garcia did not accept the lawsuit without a fight and has filed a counterclaim.  The countersuit, in which she is seeking damages of less than $50,000, focuses on Garcia’s alleged botched nose and lip injections, which she has stated were negligently administered.  Despite Beauty Lab + Laser’s offer to remedy the procedure, Garcia advised that she instead visited what she described as a different, competent facility to fix the issue.  Although Garcia has not denied that she avoided paying Gay’s company her contracted obligation, her explanation of the dissatisfaction of services is presented as a justification for nonpayment.  She has also provided the assessment that the initiation of the lawsuit serves as punishment for Gay’s personal vendetta against Garcia.
