Helena Wong worked as a host at Maryland Live before taking a job at Horseshoe Casino. On August 20th Wong sent an email to over 1,000 High rolling Maryland Live customers that landed her in some serious legal trouble. Wong was was in violation of company policy and allegedly abused her access as a VIP host at Maryland Live Casino.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<!--more Read More--><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Wong had been employed at Maryland Live from January 2014 till July 2014 when she resigned, but not before making off with a confidential list of the casino\u2019s high rollers. The email Wong sent stated \u201cIf any of you would like to visit the property or come for a night or two, please contact me ahead of time so that I can set it up for you.&#8221; \u00a0The email was followed up with &#8220;PS- please do not repeat or show this email to any of Maryland Live&#8217;s personnel. This is a confidential email between us.&#8221; \u00a0According to Maryland Live Wong was a VIP host, which allowed her access to the casinos confidential gambler list.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In a statement to 11 News, a spokeswoman for Maryland Live stated that customers had complained about Wong\u2019s email. Monique Lanos stated: &#8220;the former employee knew her actions were wrong and in fact requested, in writing, that her communications be kept secret from Maryland Live Casino.&#8221; Maryland Live alleges that Wong\u2019s behavior could have cost the casino at least $75,000.
