service, and was ordered to complete a <a title=\"Singer Chris Brown clears another probation hurdle\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2012\/11\/01\/showbiz\/chris-brown-hearing\/index.html?hpt=ju_c1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">52-week domestic violence program.<\/a>\u00a0 This was the result of the domestic violence charge he received after assaulting his girlfriend at the time, Rihanna. \u00a0Since then, previous to his most recent trial on November 1st, he has tested positive for marijuana use while in Virginia. \u00a0He somehow got away with it in court due to the fact that the marijuana was consumed in California, as allowed by his medical marijuana license.<\/p>\n<p><!--more Read more--><\/p>\n<p>Although Brown remained silent throughout the majority of his hearing on Thursday, he did raise his hand once in an effort to speak. \u00a0He was quickly shot down by his defense attorney Mark Geragos who told Brown, \u201c<a title=\"Chris Brown to stay on supervised probation\" href=\"http:\/\/www.philly.com\/philly\/entertainment\/20121101_ap_chrisbrowntostayonsupervisedprobation.html?c=r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I don\u2019t dance, you don\u2019t talk,<\/a>\u201d which allegedly had Mr. Brown smiling in the court room. \u00a0Does that seem like he is really sorry about the whole situation?<\/p>\n<p>He is scheduled to begin a world-wide tour on November 14<sup>th<\/sup>, which will extend from America, to South Africa, and even to Europe. \u00a0Mr. Brown\u2019s probation officer did write a report on Chris, stating that he \u201cappears to be making a sincere effort to comply with terms and conditions of probation.\u201d \u00a0All traveling plans must still be approved by his probations officer. \u00a0Mr. Brown seems to have gotten lucky until then but should not expect the court to be so lenient in the future. \u00a0Mr. Brown is scheduled to re-appear in court on January 17<sup>th<\/sup> where the status of his probation
