Botched cosmetic procedure<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

A Salt Lake City entrepreneur has taken her role as a cast member on The Real Housewives<\/em> to a level of legal proportion.\u00a0 When she is not vacationing on girls\u2019 trips and arguing at plated meals with her fellow housewives, Heather Gay devotes her time as the co-owner of Beauty Lab + Laser, a Utah-based company that offers cosmetic enhancements<\/a>, such as Botox, lip injections, fillers, contouring, sculpturing treatments, and hair restoration, among other services.\u00a0 Otherwise viewed as a successful business, a recent lawsuit has led to the company\u2019s potential harm and lost revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The drama stars Heather Gay and her housewives co-star, Monica Garcia, who is in her freshman season of The Real Housewives<\/em>, currently airing on Bravo.\u00a0 According to Beauty Lab + Laser, Garcia failed to fulfill her side of a contract, which included her agreement to pay a stated price for nose and lip injections.\u00a0 According to the claim, Garcia did not satisfy her payment plan.\u00a0 The company is asking that Garcia pay no less than $2,000.\u00a0 The defendant\u2019s lack of attention<\/a> toward her financial obligation has allegedly resulted in the continued suffering and loss of income for Gay\u2019s business, which she has owned since 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Garcia did not accept the lawsuit without a fight and has filed a counterclaim.  The countersuit, in which she is seeking damages of less than $50,000, focuses on Garcia\u2019s alleged botched nose and lip injections, which she has stated were negligently administered.  Despite Beauty Lab + Laser\u2019s offer to remedy the procedure, Garcia advised that she instead visited what she described as a different, competent facility to fix the issue.  Although Garcia has not denied that she avoided paying Gay\u2019s company her contracted obligation, her explanation of the dissatisfaction of services is presented as a justification for nonpayment.  She has also provided the assessment that the initiation of the lawsuit serves as punishment for Gay\u2019s personal vendetta against Garcia. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
