Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, is now starring in a new lawsuit against White Lantern Films and SMC Speciality Finance. In response to the failed production of the proposed movie, A Patriot, Green is suing for $1 million in damages. The defendant has filed a counterclaim and contends that the actress breached her contract and forced unrealistic demands that were difficult to provide. The production company claims that Green did not intend to move forward with filming, which was to begin in 2019.

In defense of this accusation against her, Green is adamant that she was devoted to the script and was eager to play a solider in the film, which was to be set in a futuristic time. What plagued her decision to move forward was the production company’s refusal to pay the industry standards necessary to hire a top quality crew. Green was not on-board to star in a movie that was seemingly set up to fail, nor work with a production company that was not willing to put forth the required effort to ensure that the movie would be incredible.

On the other hand, White Lantern Films and SMC Speciality Finance argue that Eva Green breached her agreement and was the reason for the film’s <a not apparently allot for Green’s demands for location, personnel, and equipment, the actress allegedly sent messages to production that were deemed offensive or harsh. She referred to some of the hired crew as “peasants,” and called one producer a “moron” and characterized another producer as “evil.” Green challenges the proposed reason for the film’s failure and has expressed her excitement to star in a film that intended to illustrate a deeper message of climate change. To determine liability in the case, a trial has been scheduled for early February.

Eva Green, known for her characters in Casino Royale, Dark Shadows, and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar
