A Texas law was passed last September 2019 that prohibits government agencies from taking retaliatory or adverse action against individuals or companies that are associated with religious groups.  Chick-fil-A is not only known for its high-quality fast food and long drive-through lines but is also known for closing down on Sundays.  The late founder of Chick-fil-A, A. Truett Cathy, was a Southern Baptist, and the company maintains a culture of religious foundation.  For this reason, a team of conservative activists accused the city of San Antonio of discriminating against Chick-fil-A on the grounds of religion and filed a lawsuit. Refund refusal?

Despite the current state of the nation and the world, American Airlines, among other flight companies, have continued to operate.  While many individuals have opted to cancel travel plans, others are left with no other choice than to travel internationally or across state lines. The airlines initially appeared to take a flexible approach to the mass request for refunds and cancellations.  Many customers, however, claim that when they asked for their money back, American Airlines’ response was unfavorable, leaving many to blame the airline of deceptive business practices.  As a result of this alleged mishandling, customers have taken legal action. Airplane antics gone wrong

Traveling in an airplane is scary enough, without the thought of your flight crew spying on you. In a February 2017 flight, embarking from Pittsburgh to Phoenix, a Southwest Airlines flight attendant discovered an iPad in the cockpit.  The iPad was live streaming a video of the other pilot using the bathroom.  The flight attendant, Renee Steinaker, took out her personal cell phone to photograph the iPad, as a way of documenting the incident. Due to the unprofessional and intrusive nature of the streamed video, Steinaker reported the event to her superiors at Southwest.  Steinaker was not met with an ethical response, however, and was told to not reveal the contents of the video to anyone.
