The luxury car company, Mercedes-Benz, has failed to take the health of their drivers into account when evaluating the severity of a mildew issue in their heating and air-conditioning components. It is argued that Mercedes-Benz and its parent company, Daimler AG, have been aware of the issue since 2008, but the entities did not uphold their duty to fix the issue. Ferrari Pumps Breaks on Tampering Lawsuit
Ferrari’s have always been known as popular sports cars. The very name conjures up an image of a sleek, futuristic coupe speeding around winding roads on the European countryside. A wrongfully terminated Ferrari salesman is firing back and accusing the European auto dealer of allowing “roll backs” on some of their cars. This, in theory, would decrease the mileage and make the car more valuable to potential buyers, interested in owning a flashy sports car. Uber Crashes into Discrimination Lawsuit
The popular car service, Uber, is being driven to court after they were hit with a discrimination lawsuit. Uber Technologies Inc is being accused of discriminating against blind people by refusing to transport guide dogs, a federal judge ruled. The case is brought against Uber by the National Federation of the Blind of California. This is not the first time that the company has faced complaints on how it pays drivers, treats passengers and ensures safety. Uber has an estimated worth of $40 billion and has its mobile ride-sharing service in more than 270 cities and geographic areas in 56 countries. Read More
