Keep Up with Reality

Reality TV becomes more real

Less than a year after losing her lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner family, socialite Angela White, better known professionally as Blac Chyna, has shifted her focus on fulfilling a life that is centered on positivity and spiritual awakening.  Despite her new outlook and her decision to revert her identity back to her birth name, Angela, it might prove more difficult for the famous entrepreneurial Kardashian-Jenner family to move past Blac Chyna’s filing of a defamation lawsuit, in which she sought $100 million from the family’s matriarch, Kris Jenner, as well as daughters, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner.

For those who are not fans of the reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians or have lost track of the ever-growing Kardashian-Jenner family tree, the newly reborn Angela White has a connection that extends beyond legal intent.  She shares child Dream with Rob Kardashian, who is the son of Kris Jenner.  According to the previous lawsuit filed against her ex’s family, White had accused the matriarch and specifically named sisters of unjustly defaming her character to television executives of the E! network.  This alleged ill-willed gossip amongst the famous family and executives, White believed, subsequently led to the dissolution of her spin-off show with Rob, Rob & Chyna.

At the time, White argued that the apparent conversations that took place impacted her financial opportunities and caused an economic strain.  A portion of the jurors assigned to the trial agreed with this notion regarding lost wages, however, they did not conclude that the Kardashian-Jenners were liable for the claims outlined in the lawsuit.  The jury ruled in favor of the defendants.  With the legal matters well behind them, Angela White has produced a significant effort in changing her life for the better.  In addition to getting baptized, White has also recently undergone implant reduction surgery and has had the facial fillers in her face removed.
