Firefighters Found 2 Bodies After Belt Parkway Fire

Firefighters found the bodies

Jonathan Cavallari spotted something unusual this morning at 4:25 a.m. on his security cameras.  A fire was ablaze in Spring Creek Park across from the Belt Parkway.  The fire grew bigger and firefighters were called to the scene.

It was not the fire that was unusual because Jonathan Cavallari says the brush tends to be up in flames periodically.  What was unusual was that there were two bodies among the fire that were burnt, gagged, and hands were tied behind them with rope.  Investigators were called immediately after.

Queen DA Richard Brown, “My guess is that they [the bodies] weren’t there very long because the fire was started, apparently, to cover up the crime.”  Some are claiming that the fire and murders could be linked to 10 victims found in a nearby park in what they think could be attached to a serial killer.
